Fields of Mistria Marriage Guide — Wedding & Children
Fields of Mistria marriage guide covering 10-heart requirements, proposal events, Engagement Ring crafting, wedding planning, marriage, and optional children.
Marriage Requirements
Marriage is a Version 1.0 endgame relationship system. Start by choosing a romanceable NPC, move into Dating through the relationship events, and continue building the relationship to 10 hearts.
Reach 10 Hearts
The current NPC heart cap is 10. Reaching 10 hearts with someone you are dating unlocks the next proposal-related progression described in the official patch notes.
Engagement Ring
The Engagement Ring becomes craftable at a Forge after reaching 10 hearts with a dating NPC. The official notes say Elsie delivers the recipe the next morning, after which the recipe scroll can be used to unlock it.
10-Heart Proposal Events
Proposal events can award special NPC items. The official patch notes also explain that players can view proposal events before committing to an engagement, which helps if you want to see more than one route before choosing a spouse.
Wedding Planning
Wedding preparation includes customizable details such as flower color, cake flavor, and the reception meal. After marriage, NPCs gain post-marriage dialogue and routines.
Other Dating Relationships
Version 1.0 includes settings around the default relationship-status changes that can occur after engagement when dating multiple NPCs. Check the current gameplay setting before confirming an engagement if you care about preserving other dating statuses.
How to Have Children
A Mystical Feather can become available through a post-marriage cutscene and opens an optional family-planning discussion. You can choose not to have a child.
