A good farm is not the largest field you can plant. It is the largest field you can maintain while still having time and stamina for Mistria’s other progression systems.
Crop Planning
Grow enough variety to cover money, requests, recipes, gifts, and collection goals. When a crop has multiple uses, keep a small reserve before selling the rest.
Stamina and Tool Efficiency
Tool upgrades matter most when they remove a repeated daily bottleneck. If watering or clearing consumes most of the morning, upgrade around that pressure before expanding again.
Farm Layout
Prioritize readable paths, compact crop blocks, storage near work zones, and room for later buildings. Decorative perfection can wait until the functional layout stops changing every few days.
Animals and Ranching
Ranching is a long-term resource stream, not a side feature. Treat animal products as inputs for cooking, gifts, crafting, collections, and money rather than selling everything automatically.
