Fields of Mistria 1.0 Guide — Marriage, Children & More
Fields of Mistria 1.0 guide to the August 5 full release: 10 hearts, proposals, weddings, marriage, children, Renown 100, museum completion, and achievements.
Version 1.0 Release Date
Fields of Mistria reached full release on August 5, 2026. If you are returning from Early Access, the most important change is that several long-term systems now have complete end states instead of temporary caps.
Town Repair and Renown 100
The Town Repair questline can now be completed, Town Renown reaches level 100, and additional high-rank progression gives returning players a clear late-game direction.
10-Heart Relationships
The NPC heart cap is now 10. Dating characters can reach 10-heart proposal events, and the Engagement Ring becomes part of the proposal flow after the relationship requirement is met.
Wedding, Marriage, and Children
Version 1.0 adds engagement dialogue, wedding planning, wedding events, marriage, post-marriage routines, and an optional family-planning system. Children are not forced; the game gives married players a choice.
Museum Completion and Achievements
The museum can now be completed, and Steam achievements were added with full release. Existing saves can receive achievements retroactively based on their save data.
Beta Localizations
Version 1.0 introduced beta localizations for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish alongside English.
What to Check After Updating
Returning players should review unfinished Town Repair quests, current Renown, relationship heart levels, museum gaps, and Steam achievements first. Then use the Marriage Guide if a romance candidate is already at the dating stage.
